A Rainy Day

It's rainy days like this when I'm snuggled up at home (and not running around b/c it's yet another sunshiny day in So. Cal.) that I'm reminded of how blessed I am with family and friends and a lovely home to share with my husband. Life is good!

There was a girl who fell in love with a prince. They married and began creating adventures and memories, from summers in Europe and pageants, to church planting and fleeing from wild moose in the Rocky Mountains. They grew together and strived to serve their King. They lived every day to it’s fullest, but knew their home was meant for more. One day, not so long ago, they took on the title of foster parent. Currently you’ll find them residing in sunny Cali, with two beautiful daughters; and if you were to take a peek into their château today you’d no doubt find a bit of chaos, scribbled walls, a tantrum here and there, maybe a few tiara’s, but most importantly an abundance of laughter and lots of love.
